We had so much fun at St. Andrew’s State Park in Panama City Beach, Florida for fall break this year! Traveling in October is always a little crazy but there’s nothing like the beach in the fall 😍 The weather was perfect and the water was crystal clear! This was our first time exploring St. Andrew’s State Park and it did not disappoint!
I was so excited to coordinate a beach session with the Casey kids while we were staying in 30A for the week! The twins were in my preschool class years ago when I was still teaching and I just can’t believe they are in 5th grade this year! One of my favorite things about being a family photographer is the opportunity to keep up with families over the years and getting to watch their kids grow and change from squishy little cuties to their own independent people full of ambition, dreams, extracurricular activities, and new passions. At the Casey’s session I was caught up on all the things like competitive cheer, travel soccer, student council and so many fun exciting new adventures! 4 year old Piper used to dance her way around my classroom singing the day away and during our session she tumble across the my camera frame showing off some of her competitive cheer moves. And even though we still got out some good silly laughs out of Grayson, he seemed so grown up this year lookin like a stud with his hands in his pockets and that model smirk on his face, so different from the silly little boy building towers and always talking about Ninjago. Beautiful Paige told me all about her love for soccer and traveling. Some of my favorite portraits of her this year are the ones where she is strolling along the beach at sunset.
Can I just say how much I LOVE portrait sessions at the beach!?! The beach is my favorite place and getting to take family pictures there is just the best! Enjoy this little peek into the Casey’s beach session!
